What’s the purpose of this Department?

The Town of Wheatland Recreation Department is responsible for the detailed planning, execution and performance of Town sponsored leisure time programs, activities and events. The Town Recreation Department works in close collaboration with the Wheatland Recreation Commission, who serves as an advisory and steering group for the Recreation Department.  Wheatland Recreation programs, activities and events are designed to be affordable, enhanced quality of life experiences for Town residents and visitors alike to enjoy during their leisure time.

Recreation Program Schedule

 The brochure provided below describes the most recent Recreation Department program offerings, including dates, times, locations and registration fees. Wheatland Recreation programs execute on  approximately a seasonal basis, with new offerings coming out in the Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.  Please be sure to take notice of the registration deadlines in the brochure. A recreation program registration form must be completed for each participant and either mail in the completed form to the Recreation Department or drop it off at the Wheatland Municipal Building located at 22 Main St. Scottsville, NY.  The Summer “Fun” Day Camp requires a specific registration form and several other supporting forms.
