Second Public Meeting – New Water District
A second public meeting will be held for those residents who petitioned the Town for a public water district on portions of Quaker, Bowerman and River Roads. This meeting will review the various options, process, timeline and PRELIMINARY COSTS associated with moving forward with any of the options. This would be a 35-year debt commitment for those district residents fully knowing that final approval or denial of the project comes from New York State regardless of resident desire.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in the Wheatland Senior Center. It will start at 6 pm with the first half hour being an opportunity to review options prior to a discussion.
